Marguerite McNeilly

Marguerite began her training with the Garden State Ballet under the direction of Fred Danieli and Peter Anastos. She continued her studies with Mme Seda Sorvillo, Jaques D'ambois, Janet Shibata and Tom Adaire at Ballet Arts. She joined CPYB with Marcia Dale Weary where she received a Ford foundation grant from Babrabara Weisberger of Pennsylvania Ballet.

Her repertoire includes soloist roles in Les Sylphides, Nutcracker, Gisselle, Sleeping Beauty, and A Midsummers Night Dream. Performances include Circus Polka with NYCBallet at SPAC and at Jacobs Pillow in original works with the Royal Swedish Ballet , Les Grande Ballet under the direction of Ben Harkarvy and with the Paul Taylor Dancers.

She performed nationally and abroad with Grease, Cats, a Chorus Line, No Exit and Cabaret.

Marguerite has been on faculty with SUNY Purchase and SUNY Orange, the Logrea Dance Academy and Westchester Ballet , Broadway Dance Center and the nationally recognized SKIES program at West Point Military Academy.

The founder and artistic director of the Hudson Valley Dance Center of Warwick, her classical ballet school produced the Lion King, Neverland, Alice and Wonderland and the Nutcracker at the Paramount Theatre in New York.

Marguerite has a BA in Literature from Emerson College. She is certified in advanced Pilates and currently teaches dance and fitness throughout Palm Beach County.
