Calyssa started dancing at the age of three, beginning her competitive journey at Tammy’s Dance Company as soon as she started kindergarten. She is trained in jazz, contemporary, tap, hip-hop, ballet, pointe, acro, and clogging and has been teaching dance for eight years.

Calyssa has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the Wilkes Honors College at Florida Atlantic University. During her undergraduate studies, she joined FAU’s Owlettes Dance Company, becoming the President and a choreographer. In this position, she organized yearly dance showcases, choreographed a wide variety of routines, and taught weekly classes to the students of the Wilkes Honors College. After graduation, Calyssa worked as a Fun Squad Intern on the Carnival Breeze, utilizing her dance training to teach line dances and entertain guests at numerous events. 

Calyssa’s passion for dance lies at the studio level, where she can help the next generation of dancers grow their love of dance.
