Schedule & Registration

All holiday closings and important studio dates are listed on our Calendar .

Our performance season includes music showcases, acting showcases, and dance/musical theater recitals each spring. Exact dates are posted on our Calendar and shared in-studio once they’re confirmed.

Auditions and performance opportunities are posted on our website, at the Front Desk, and on social media. Each audition listing includes age range, requirements, and how to sign up.

Auditions for our student productions are typically in August, November, January, and May. Auditions for our Adult Community Theater productions are typically in July, November, and February.

Arriving 5–10 minutes before class is ideal so students can settle in before class begins.

For safety, please park and walk your student into the building and come inside for pickup. We do not offer curbside drop-off or pickup.

You can add classes by contacting the Front Desk team or registering online. We’re happy to recommend complementary classes based on your student’s interests and goals.

What to Wear & Supplies

Yes. Each program has a specific Dress Code outlining required attire, shoes, and other items for class.

In-Studio Policies & Experience

We offer limited makeups based on space and program. Please contact the Front Desk team to see what options are available for your student’s specific class and time of year.

Each studio has a viewing window so families can observe. To help our students stay focused:

  • Students can see and hear you — please stay quiet and keep hallways clear.
  • Please watch with your eyes, not your lens. Photos and videos are not permitted.

Yes. Photos and videos taken during classes and events may be used by PAAJ for marketing and promotional purposes. Usage is guided by our Studio Policies .

We do not currently offer classes specifically focused on special needs. Accommodations must fit within the planned curriculum and cannot hinder learning or safety. Please speak with us prior to enrollment so we can help determine the best fit.

Placement, Progress & Attendance

We place students based on age, experience, and readiness. Teachers may recommend a different level to support your student’s growth.

Dance-only note: Class changes after Dec. 1 may require purchasing a new costume.

You may request a placement review through the Front Desk team. If space is available, we’re happy to help with a schedule adjustment up to Jan. 31.

Dance-only note: Changes after Dec. 1 may require a new costume purchase.

Start with our Front Desk team — they’ll connect you with your student’s teacher or a department head.

Your student’s spot is only guaranteed if tuition continues. You may withdraw and re-enroll later if space allows, though this is not permitted in audition-based companies.

Significant absences may affect performance eligibility.

With a doctor's note, we will:

  • Charge the first 30 days and hold that as a credit for return.
  • Hold the spot for up to 8 weeks (based on the agreed return date).

If the student does not return by the agreed date, the credit is applied to withdrawal processing.
